About Me
Hello - My Name is Jack Farrell and I'm an actor and a musician .
I do both film an theater and just finished a shooting the lead in the feature film: "Five Days at Zooblin's Steakhouse" as well as a run as the lead in a workshopped play "Alms" at NWTW playing a fallen Irish Catholic.
In the 80's and early 90's I was a working actor and signed with a modeling agency for print. At that time I was performing and teaching with an improv company; the NY Team for Theater Sports , singing in clubs around town, and doing the usual actor stuff (my yearly Law and Order, soaps, occasional commercials, etc.) I left this for the romance of building sets for the movies as a local #52 set carpenter whick I did for about 20 yrs where I learned to love set life.
Since coming back to acting I've been training weekly with the Barrow Group and most recently with Jon Shear. Occasionally I feed my soul by playing with my band "Fishcakes and the Fried Daddies".
People often cast me as an intimidating bad guy - whick confuses me because I'm a really nice guy; I was a hippy! I also make a terrific uncle, fixer-lawer, bartender, or detective. I'm an outdoor guy comfortable with a chain saw or canoe.
I love making new friends in the business, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to work together!
